The Young Oak Kim Center for Korean American Studies
Annual Korean American Studies Conference
The Annual Korean American Studies Conference began in 2022 when the Young Oak Kim Center for Korean American Studies at UCR founding director, Dr. Edward Chang, gathered like minded groups and individuals to form a committee and structure the first event in April 2022.
The Annual KA Studies Conference is designed to help educators develop, receive, and be part of a community whose goals are to provide ethnic studies curriculum geared toward teaching Korean American studies at the K-16 levels. The curriculum is available, free to interested educators and posted to this site.
We are looking for presenters, speakers, and a call for papers will go out. Check back here for updates. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out by contacting Carol Park at carol.park@ucr.edu.
